These are unbelievable. Cake no.2 is the REAL answer to the request "I want sprinkles"! Cake no.3 is the most fabulous wedding cake ever. As for the winged unicorn - how do they DO that?

this tried to make me cry. rainbows and you ended with kermit. the most perfect post ever.
My favorites are the unicorn, the little chickie (love the cotton-ball clouds!), the stars, and of course Kermit. Who doesn't love Kermit?
That second last one is amazing. I keep going back to look at it. I love it.
I can't even read the lyrics to the song without wanting to cry! Augh!

I remember this song very well, and was very surprised that my daughter had no idea what I was talking about when I showed her this post. So we went to youtube, and she still didn't recognize the song. The song and movie were in 1979, and she wasn't born until 1981. No wonder she doesn't remember it!
You have posted some awesomely beautiful cakes on Sunday Sweets, but these literally take the cake. Brilliant, inspired, true colors, heart felt, couldn't be better and Kermie rocks!

@betty, I was born in '80 and I know the song-but then again I had the record (yup, the ole LP). Beautiful cakes, love #3 and 9 the most. Made me all snuggly and smiley.
I LOVE THE UNICORN!!! It makes me feel like I'm back in the days of Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, and Lisa Frank stickers! It made me feel young :-)

I'm not feeling well today (all sniffly with a headache because of the drastic weather change where I live), and this just made my day. I love the Rainbow Connection song and Kermit. To have beautiful rainbow cakes and then end it with Kermit it just PERFECT!!!!! I really needed something to help make me feel better and this did it!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

I think the "sprinkles" on the second cake are Nerds candy. I can't imagine how long that must've taken to do. I know I wouldn't have that much patience! Beautiful cakes and awesome Sunday post as always!

I love them all! *_* I can't pick a favorite. I would also have the worst time forcing myself to stick a knife in any of them. They're too pretty!
On closer inspection of the winged unicorn, I thought there might be a baby hiding under it's wing. I had to go to the site and look for a picture from another angle, and I think it's even more beautiful in the other view with the baby relaxing against the mom! I so want a sculpture of that cake in my house!
