What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

They Call Me... Tater Salad

But that's still not as silly as Mary's nickname:

Kinda makes you wonder how she got it.

Or if it has anything to do with that plastic thing in a bag taped to the top of the box.

Naaaah.

Hey, Mary "Toy In Middle" R., maybe you should try an acronym:

And here's my son - Tater Tot. Love Ron White! Tell Mary - at least her toy is not covered in icing.....

At least the roses looked good lol. Some days I really wonder what wreckerators are thinking. And they were nice enough to tape the toy on the box.

It never hurts to include a Holy Grail clip in one of your posts: maybe that's what the plastic thing is. ;)

Better a toy in middle rather than toys in the attic, Grandma always used to say.
