What's a Wreck?

A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

Now, don't you have a photo you want to send me? ;)

Happy Halloweenies!

How do I know these cakes want us to have a happy Halloween?

Why, it's as plain as the dongs on their faces.

My personal favorite:

"GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT... oh."

And finally, ever wonder when your hubby's about to pick up a new nickname for certain regions of his anatomy?

HERE'S YOUR SIGN:

Thanks to Jill P., Katie G., Alyson B., Patrick M., Stephanie F., & Dion H. for ensuring John never calls me 'pumpkin' again.

And now, your Moment of Jen:

The pumpkin face says it all.

The Squire (my husband) insists - fervently! - that the Pumpkin Patch is deliberate. I agree with him.

I'm convinced these bakers do this just to get a rise out of people. Have their consciences ever been pricked so that they know this kind of baking isn't on the up and up? They should be hauled before a judge, given a stiff sentence until these kinds of baked goods just peter out and disappear.

Maybe they were playing “Hide a Wang” at the bakery that day?

Oh ma gawd, it would seem that requirements for being a decorator are that you can breathe, and that you what you are doing. XD

I forgot to mention that all these baked goods should be in violation of the penal code.

@Lady Anne:
I don't know....sometimes these things just pop up totally involuntarily.
It's not always the thought that counts.
@Mike: you sound familiar; but I can't put my finger on it...(not trying to be fresh!)
Happy Halloween, Jen, john, and everyone!

Well now I won't be looking at a pumpkin patch the same way ever again without laughing my head off and getting odd looks from strangers lol. Thanks wreckerators.

Mike- your comment gave me a much-needed laugh! Thank you!

Pumpkin patch... looks like the poop-wang has moved from Thanksgiving to Halloween?!

Haven't laughed this hard at work in a while.

The cupcake perv in the last photo has two reasons to be that happy. The Boobie Cakes below him, and the rather... um... gifted... ghost next to him.
