A Cake Wreck is any cake that is unintentionally sad, silly, creepy, inappropriate - you name it. A Wreck is not necessarily a poorly-made cake; it's simply one I find funny, for any of a number of reasons. Anyone who has ever smeared frosting on a baked good has made a Wreck at one time or another, so I'm not here to vilify decorators: Cake Wrecks is just about finding the funny in unexpected, sugar-filled places.

I've heard the song was in fact verbal irony; it was intended to knowingly mock those who overuse the word "ironic." I cannot speak for the veracity of this claim, but it is something I have heard.
Definition of irony: an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected. So, irony is very subjective. The original song had ideas that were ironic...to the song writer. One person's irony may not be another's. Just trying to clarify to all those who believe their choice of irony is the only way, which is actually very ironic from my perspective.

I love that the ad that comes up on the right when I looked at this is for Victoria's Secret. And features a nicely placed Ass-End.
Its posts like this that make me wish CW was always (always!) safe for kids and work so I could share it with my students. On the other hand, those NSFW /NSFK posts are always appreciated too. Ass end indeed!
Lol wow. How on earth did these wreckerators even become cake decorators to begin with? I guess they assended into the position. I cannot stop laughing.
The family literacy cake was close, oh, so close. Nicely decorated, attractive writing. But then it became nothing to celabrate.
