And Now, Your Labor Day Moment Of Zen

Thanks Sarah F. for understanding that john and Jen had a long day at Dragon Con and might not have technically had a post "ready" for Labor Day. Also, john and Jen are very sleepy because it is 3 am. Also, john likes talking about john in the third person.
Happy Labor Day, everyone! Unless you're not American! In which case... woohoo Monday.
Editor's note- Apparently, it's Labour Day in Canada, too but they spell it funny so I'm not sure it counts. :)

Uh, John? I can't speak for everyone, but I, personally,would like to think that most of us REALLY would've understood if you'd/"he'd" just taken the day off...I'm not saying that we don't appreciate the trouble you/"he" went to in order to give us this "Zen belly" (?) offering, because ...I'm sure someone does/might....! Rest up! We'll probably still be here when you/he gets back to normal/reality.... =^e.e^=

Why does john spell john with a lower case letter. Does john think john isn't important. I think john should spell john as John.

I know exactly what you mean, Gossamer. I first ran across the phenomenon searching for the word "blue" in the library online catalog (I'm old enough that my high school only had a card catalog, so the ability to use a computer to look for something was a bit of a novelty). After scrolling through pages and pages of "blue", it started to look wrong. Kind of a bizarre mental trick.
Do we, by chance, know if Aimei is spelled correctly? I mean, the balloon tucked in the underwear is bad enough...

I didn't even know that there WERE white pumpkins out there. I found a nice picture of one in Gurney's seed catalog, and it's all carved & smiling away....It looks really weird! AND kind of pretty! So, pretty weird.

Where are the women who have perfectly round, basketball pregnancy bellies? These cakes always show that, this one more than others, yet I didn't have one nor have ever seen one. Usually the woman is sort of pear-shaped. Have YOU?

I mean, who can keep their underwear on their body when the underwear is 2 inches bigger than your body on each side?

@SaraCVT; I remember seeing a huge pregnancy when I was only a kid; it looked as if the woman had a watermelon in there, pointing outward. It terrified me, because I had no idea how they came out, but I imagined that it could be horrible (or impossible!)....and it sure can be horrible. Good thing they're worth it! ;-)
Well, that's . . . festive? And very blue. And why does the belly look like someone decided "Eh,let's just plunk this half of a soccer ball in the middle"?

I noticed that the boobs are almost as big as the pregnancy bump! Doesn't seem right to me.

Did...?" etc.- Here's what I think, for what it's worth (which-trust me- isn't much): Maybe it looks the way it looks because the baker/wreckorator was simply doing the best job that he/she possibly could with a request for something that is RIDICULOUS to begin with! Poor baker/wreckorator; he or she should demand a raise!

Ha John, very funny! We Canadians just never dropped the "U" from our words the way you Americans did. In fact the proper English way to spell Labour is WITH the "U". American's dropped the "U" from all sorts of words: Armour, Colour, Labour etc.
Looks like if either isn't counting it is yours. ;-)

The "belly" looks more like the warning bell in the hallway when I was a kid at school...only they were silver. Or a very large umbilical hernia. Or any number of things completely unlike a pregnant belly.
